Dear Aviator Nation!
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is an incredible privilege to continue serving as the principal of Laguna Niguel Elementary School. I am grateful to be part of a school community filled with amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families who make LNES such a special place to learn and grow.
As we begin a new school year together, I remain committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels a sense of belonging, is challenged to reach their full potential, and is supported in their academic and personal growth. At Laguna Niguel Elementary, we believe that strong relationships and meaningful partnerships between our students, staff, and families are essential to helping every Aviator succeed.
I am proud of all that we have accomplished together and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. This year, we will continue to build upon our strengths, celebrate our successes, and find new ways to support and inspire every student. I am grateful for the trust, partnership, and commitment of our entire Aviator community.
With optimism and purpose, I look forward to another wonderful year together as we continue to LEARN, GROW and SOAR!
Warmly,
Mr. Howe

Hello Laguna Niguel families,
My name is Mrs. Lee, and I’m thrilled to be continuing my journey at Laguna Niguel Elementary School as your Assistant Principal for the 2026-2027 school year. This year marks my tenth year in Capistrano Unified School District and my second year as Assistant Principal at Laguna Niguel. Throughout my time in CUSD, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a classroom teacher, MTSS Specialist, and assistant principal.
This year, I will be on campus four days a week, while continuing to be actively involved in supporting and connecting with our students, families, and staff. Student success, safety, and well-being, along with building strong relationships, remain at the heart of my work. I am committed to continuing to support our school community and building upon the strong relationships and connections we established last year.
If you see me around campus, please don’t hesitate to say hello. I’m excited to continue being part of the Aviator Nation and partnering with you to make the 2026-2027 school year a fantastic one!
Warmly,
Mrs. Lee
